Kalamazoo County Continuum of Care, administered by United Way and its partners, is working to help all residents experiencing homelessness or potential evictions during the COVID-19 Pandemic within Kalamazoo County.
This multi-agency coordinated effort is providing short-term housing solutions for residents in need while more longer-term affordable housing is developed by Kalamazoo County under the leadership of Kalamazoo County Housing Director, Mary Balkema since the passage of the “Homes For All” millage in November 2020. The County Housing department aims to provide adequate, affordable housing for people in need within Kalamazoo County.
