Oshtemo Township is now part of the Southwest Michigan Building Authority (SMBA), a newly formed agency combining the building departments of Oshtemo and Cooper Townships into one to insure the highest quality enforcement of the State of Michigan Construction Code, while creating efficiency related to the cost of the building inspections.
